Havin' a smelly summer?
Don't get caught with funky feet. Yep, the summer heat is in full effect, and it's not always cool for our tootsie odor. Take some quick advice from Steve Pennisi of Odor-Eaters, a long-time provider of footcare products: Dry those toes! You might think you're doing something by patting or air-drying your feet, but Pennisi says you're doing them an injustice when you don't get squeaky-clean (and squeaky-dry) in-between. "Moisture that hangs around is food for fungus," notes Pennisi, "and dampness causes blisters." Learn more about how to "Treat Your Tootsies Right" now!

Keira's swashbuckling with the best of 'em!
When 18-year-old actress KEIRA KNIGHTLEY signed on to star in Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (Buena Vista Pictures, PG-13), now in theaters, she thought she'd have a nice corseted job sitting in the corner, occasionally coming in to do a close-up. "Suddenly I'm fighting all these baddies and thinking this wasn't what I signed up for," she shares. Find out more about Keira's on-sea adventure, and then enter to win an exclusive Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl prize pack!

Stuck on the road?
If you're anything like me, your first car isn't all you hoped it would be. The engine sounds like a tiger instead of a kitten, your brakes squeak like a mouse, and your timing belt broke -- twice. But, what I wish I knew was that Pep Boys, the car care professionals, offer a Highway Emergency Kit with a flare, tire inflater, first aid supplies, and booster cables. That's enough to get your jalopy up and running until the nearest gas station. They make great traveling buddies!

Wouldn't it be nice...
to windsurf in Spain, hand-feed kangaroos in Australia, and watch sunsets in Costa Rica? You're probably wondering, what do these things have in common? You can get college credit while doing them. Not only that, but according to the U.S. Department of Education, 1.8 million Americans will be enrolled in graduate schools next year, and studying abroad can increase your chances of getting in. And Cultural Experiences Abroad, a company that provides international education opportunities for U.S. and Canadian college students, agrees. They have relationships with universities in and out of the United States, so students can have a cultural experience they'll never forget. To broaden your horizons, view worlds you've never seen before, and increase your chances of getting ahead for grad school, visit www.GoWithCEA.com, and you'll be soaring to new heights!

Killing a killer!
165,000, that's a big number. 400,000 -- even bigger. These are the numbers of women and others who die from smoking-related diseases each year -- it's more than AIDS, alcohol, drug abuse, car accidents, and homicide put together. Cigarette smoking may seem cool, but who wants to be a part of these statistics? Not country music singer TRISHA YEARWOOD, who lost both grandmothers to lung cancer. That's why she recently joined forces with the Society for Women's Health Research to improve medical research for women, and educate them about lung cancer, tobacco, and addiction. And specifically, the "Her Cancer" campaign is aimed at teens -- 30 percent of high school senior girls have tried smoking. The next time you reach to take a puff, stomp it out before it's too late. Smoking is not just dangerous, it's a killer. For more information, go to www.HerCancer.com.

The heat is rising
... past 98 degrees, that is! With a new wife, JESSICA SIMPSON; an upcoming reality show about his newfound marital bliss, MTV's Newlyweds (premiering August 19th at 10:30 p.m.); and a debut solo album, Soul0, in stores that same day, NICK LACHEY is hot! No more invisible man -- Nick's lead single, "Shut Up," off his new album, may not be as PG-rated as expected, but with its upbeat tempo and soul-based music, there's no question how it debuted as #1 Most Added at the Top 40 radio format. Rock your body over JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE, everyone wants a piece of this former band boy. But don't worry girls -- despite the multi-platinum sales and sold-out tours, Nick is remaining true to his heart. This Cincinatti native's attitude can be described as down-to-earth and humble. Doesn't that make you want to heat it up?

Scared bit-less
We've all seen horror movies and read horror stories that have chilled our bones and made it tough to sleep at night. But video games? Capcom, a world-famous video game publisher, has just released "Resident Evil Zero," by far its scariest game to date -- so frightening that a telephone helpline has been established for players who are scared bit-less. Terrified gamers can dial the hotline and listen to a two-minute recorded message by a top psychologist, which should calm their nerves and loosen their grip on those joysticks. "It's our duty to look after our consumers properly," says Ben Le Rougetel, Capcom spokesperson. "Resident Evil Zero is a ridiculously scary game. We want players to know help is at hand if they become too frightened -- fear is all in the mind, and that's what we want our players to remember." Creepy! Well, it's not like the demons in the video game could actually come to life anyway... or could they?
